What is a common thought that keeps people up at night? Why do some people experience this?

Probably money problems or relationship problems. The key is to be able to call your mind .Start at least an hour before bedtime. Don't watch things that male you anxious. Practice slow deep breathing. Keep your room colder at 63 degrees. Use a big cozy blanket if your a cold person. No electronics in the bedroom, no TV in the bedroom. If your a clock watcher put it somewhere you can't see it. Turn it around don't be a clock watcher, it's very intrusive to good sleep. Try thinking of the ocean breath in through your nose for the count of 3, blow slowly out your mouth to the count of 4. Envision the ocean waves rolling in and out with each breath in and out. If your mind wanders pull it back to your breathing focusing on the in and out with ocean waves. It takes practice but it works. Try it during the day too when your relaxing. Sweet dreams sleep well.
